Exhibition Areas

The Sustainable Town Planning Centre comprises the following spaces:

  • The spaces devoted to the permanent museum exhibition of the Sustainable Town Planning Centre.
  • A conference hall with capacity for 90 people.
  • A space for temporary exhibitions.
  • A workshop-classroom for courses and seminars.
  • The area for sponsors.

The Exhibition Space

The key themes described above will be presented one by one in the exhibition space of the Sustainable Town Planning Centre. Special attention will be paid to measures that can be adopted by citizens in order to make a commitment to sustainability. The Scientific Committee of the Centre will approve a programme of visits, which will include visits made by technical experts in the material and key figures involved in building construction.

The Conference Hall

The hall will be employed for the organization of dialogues, talks, seminars and round table discussions. The programme of courses and conferences will be approved by the Scientific Committee of the Centre on an annual basis and will be centred on target areas for the themes of the Centre.

The Area for Sponsors

The image of a company is the image of its products, and the positive perception of a product depends on looking after all aspects of the product, from manufacture to its final presentation. The presentation must in turn be made with care; individually – creation of an image and an attractive brand – and collectively – with products laid out in a pleasant space or environment.

The Sustainable Town Planning Centre has been set up as a showroom; a space devoted to the promotion and exhibition of new products and services linked to bio-climatic construction (including high energy efficiency installations, equipment and materials), where each company can present its new creations and share them with users and potential customers.

The philosophy of the building is in line with the values of sustainability each company linked with bio-climatic architecture aims to confer on its products, in order to effectively initiate the value-added chain.

In addition, the Centre has been set up as a pioneering and interactive space for participation, meeting and consultancy - of companies and users. The objectives of the area for sponsors are first, to promote sales channels and the image of trademarks of sustainable companies, and second, to display the novelties, products and projects of the companies by providing a suitably innovative image in each case.
